A double rail island
The system rests on a central row of uprights, fixed to the floor through pre-drilled base plates, carrying two conveyor rails — one on each side. The bags spread across both faces, which doubles the number of stations compared with a single rail over the same floor area. Right for setting a battery of bags in the middle of a room, with circulation all around.
Configurations for 8, 10 or 12 bags
Three standard formats, and any made-to-measure configuration:
- 2 × 4 bags (8 in total) — 8 m / 26 ft rail
- 2 × 5 bags (10 in total) — 10 m / 33 ft rail
- 2 × 6 bags (12 in total) — 12 m / 39 ft rail
Standard height of the posts and the rails: 273 cm / 8 ft 11 in. Every build is validated by our design office before manufacture.
Self-locking trolleys and premium build
The silent self-locking trolleys let you move and park each bag in one movement: pull the tabs to lock or release. The structure is premium powder-coated steel, with the colour of your choice.
Important: the central posts are fixed to the floor through base plates and require a solid concrete slab with careful anchoring. A system of this size should be installed with care, ideally by a professional, and the fixings checked regularly.
Which rail system to choose
- Wall mounted: the wall conveyor rail — floor clear, the most affordable multi-bag setup, needs a load-bearing wall.
- On frames: the rail on floor-fixed frames — self-supporting, no wall or ceiling constraint.
- Suspended: the ceiling-hung rail — nothing on the floor, nothing on the walls.
- Double sided: the central post rail — an island of 8 to 12 bags reached from both sides.

Frequently asked questions
What is the point of a double rail?
It doubles the number of stations over the same floor area: the bags hang on both faces of a central row of posts, and the island can be walked all the way round. Over a 12 m / 39 ft run you get 12 bags instead of 8.
How many bags can be installed?
Three standard formats: 2 × 4 bags (8 in total) on an 8 m / 26 ft rail, 2 × 5 (10 in total) on 10 m / 33 ft, 2 × 6 (12 in total) on 12 m / 39 ft. Any made-to-measure configuration can be studied by our design office.
What load do the rails take?
The working load is 300 kg per metre / 202 lb per foot on each rail, which allows heavy bags to be lined up along the whole run.
How much space does the island need?
The rail length plus circulation on both faces. Allow enough room for a boxer to work behind each bag on either side, and to walk round the ends. The posts are fixed to the floor through base plates on a solid concrete slab.
Can the structure be customised?
Yes. It is premium powder-coated steel in the colour of your choice, and any length or bag count can be studied by our design office before manufacture.
