One American medal in Beijing
At the 2008 Beijing Games, American boxing came home with a single medal: Deontay Wilder's light heavyweight bronze. He had started boxing two years earlier, at 20, to pay for the care of his daughter, born with spina bifida.
That bronze gave him the nickname Bronze Bomber, echoing Joe Louis's Brown Bomber. He became WBC heavyweight champion in January 2015 and held the belt for five years.
What you see
Wilder is framed to mid thigh on the centre panel, bare chested, right arm thrown back, eyes to the left. He wears gold trunks with WILDER on the waistband, an EVERLAST band visible below it, and a WBC belt at the waist.
Orange flames fill the lower half of all five panels and climb behind him. The name appears in capitals outlined in black: DEONTAY left, WILDER right. From 3 m / 10 ft you see an orange blaze on brown; from 1 m / 3 ft you read the lettering on the trunks and the belt.

How to hang a 5 panel canvas
The five panels go side by side: the image is continuous and reassembles in one piece. Put up the centrepanel first, its middle 145 cm / 57 in from the floor, then add the panels in pairs eitherside, checking the level at each pair. A paper template on the wall before drilling saves redoing the holes.
The width rule is the same as for a single canvas: the set covers about two thirds of the width ofthe furniture below it. The size chart by wall type gives the full size-to-placement table.

Frequently asked questions
What size 5 piece canvas should I choose?
The five panels are hung side by side, so what counts is the total width — 50, 100, 150 or 200 cm / 20, 39, 59 or 79 in depending on the grid — not the size of a single panel. Allow the 20 × 35 grid above a chest of drawers, the 30 × 40 grid above a three-seater sofa, and the 40 × 60 grid on a clear wall over three metres / 10 ft.
How do I hang a canvas in 5 parts?
Start with the centre panel, its middle 145 cm / 57 in from the floor, then add the panels in pairs either side, checking the level at each pair. A paper template on the wall before drilling saves redoing the holes.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Two options in the selector. Without frame: the panels ship rolled in a protective tube with a white border, to be mounted on stretchers. With frame: they arrive already mounted on wooden stretchers, ready to hang. The five stretcher kit covers the panels sold on their own.
Why is Deontay Wilder called the Bronze Bomber?
For the bronze medal he won at the 2008 Beijing Games — the only medal American boxing took home that year — echoing Joe Louis, the Brown Bomber. He had started boxing two years earlier, at 20.
Are the 5 panels sold together?
Yes. The price covers the five panels, and the grid chosen applies to the set: the panels are not sold separately and ship together.
How do I clean a canvas print?
A dry microfibre cloth handles almost everything. For a mark that stays, use a barely damp cloth with no detergent, wiping across the surface. No abrasive sponge, no glass cleaner.
