On the silver finish the two gold bands round the wrists are not plain ferrules: each carries the word POWER in relief, engraved on both and set head to tail. It reads from about thirty centimetres / a foot away, and not before.
Two fists, not gloves
That is the subject of the piece: the bare clenched fist, fingers folded, knuckles and tendons modelled, each running into a cuff that joins it to the body of the bangle. A glove points at the sport; a fist points at what is underneath it.
The body of the bangle
On the silver version the body is a flat band, wide and flat, hammered and dark on the outside, smooth and polished inside. On the gold versions it is round in section and smooth. Neither has ribs or twist: the whole reading happens at the two ends.

- Silver: the two-tone version. Grey patinated body and fists, two gold joining bands engraved POWER.
- Gold: polished gold bangle, round in section, chased cuffs in the same tone.
- Vintage: matte gold, no shine, in the spirit of an older piece.
An open bangle: no size, no clasp
The bangle goes on sideways through the gap between the two fists, then is set by gently spreading or closing the arms. Nothing to pick at checkout, nothing to fasten one-handed behind your back.

Good to know: set the diameter in small successive steps rather than one large one. A dry soft cloth after wear is enough; on the silver version skip polishing paste, which would flatten the contrast between the dark hammered surface and the bright relief. Perfume before jewellery.
