The essentials: the most famous photograph in boxing — Ali standing over Sonny Liston, Lewiston, 25 May 1965 — ringed by seven handwritten lines: I am the Greatest, Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, Heavyweight Champion of the World, Louisville, 1965. Premium cotton 180 gsm in white, crew neck, heat transfer print. 7 sizes S to 4XL, €29, free shipping.
One tee that gathers everything: the photograph, both quotes, the title, the home town and the date.
It is the most complete model in the Ali range — the one that does not make you choose between an image and a line.
Lewiston, 25 May 1965
The scene at the centre is the rematch against Sonny Liston, in a small town in Maine. The fight lasts one minute and 44 seconds: Ali lands a right so fast that much of the crowd swears it never saw it thrown — the « phantom punch ». Liston goes down, Ali refuses a neutral corner and stands over him.
Around that image the tee sets what Ali was saying about himself at the time: I am the Greatest, the line he applied to himself before the world took it up, and Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, which came from his cornerman Drew « Bundini » Brown.
Louisville is his home town, in Kentucky — where he started boxing at twelve after his bicycle was stolen.
What it looks like on
A poster composition, over the full height of the chest. At the top, MUHAMMAD ALI in a blue banner set in an arc. At the centre, the colour photograph: Ali standing, white shorts and red gloves, Liston stretched out at his feet.
Around it, the lines are drawn by hand in navy, arranged either side of the photograph, with stars and two small butterflies answering the quote. Bottom right, 1965 in a box.
On white, the navy lettering and the colours of the photograph carry cleanly; the whole thing reads like a museum poster rather than a sports tee.
Premium cotton, crew neck, short sleeves, straight cut. Plain back.

Frequently asked questions
Which fight does the photo show?
The Ali – Sonny Liston rematch, on 25 May 1965 in Lewiston, Maine. The fight lasts one minute and 44 seconds: Ali lands a right so fast that much of the crowd swears it never saw it thrown — the « phantom punch ».
Why does it say Louisville?
It is his home town, in Kentucky. He started boxing there at twelve, after his bicycle was stolen: the police officer he went to report the theft to was training boxers in a local gym.
Who came up with float like a butterfly, sting like a bee?
It is credited to Drew « Bundini » Brown, Ali's cornerman, before the first Liston fight in 1964. It describes his style: a heavyweight who moved like a lightweight, guard low, slipping with the torso.
How does it differ from the Ali vs Liston tee?
It is the same photograph, handled differently. Here, a poster on white with seven lines around it. The Ali vs Liston model shows the image alone, on black, with THE GREATEST as the only wording.
Does it come in big sizes?
Yes, up to 4XL: S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL and 4XL, all at the same price. Most boxing tees on the market stop at XXL.
Which size should I take?
Standard European cut: take your usual size. Chest runs from about 96 cm / 38 in on a S to 132 cm / 52 in on a 4XL. Wash at 30 °C / 86 °F inside out, with whites.
