Fringed boxing shorts

In short: Fringes running down the leg and a metallic waistband: this is ring-walk kit, the kind that moves with every step. 4 colourways, gold or silver finish. 8 sizes, XS to 4XL. €49.
Fringes, a ring-walk tradition
Fringes on a boxing short serve no technical purpose, and that is the point. They belong to the theatre of the fight — the part of the spectacle that has come with the sport from the beginning, alongside the walkout music, the robe and the corner colours.
What they do is make movement visible. A fringe hangs still when you stand and swings when you step, which is exactly what a ring walk is for: being seen moving before anything has happened.
What the shorts look like
Plain ground in four colourways: white and gold, white and silver, black and gold, red and gold. Long metallic fringes run from the waistband down each side of the leg. The wide elastic waistband is fully metallic, gold or silver depending on the model, with a matching band at the hem.
Why the boxing cut here rather than a Thai one
Fringes need length to hang. On a Thai short with a high split there is nothing for them to run down, which is why they belong on the longer boxing cut, where the leg gives them a full drop.
The cut also matches the occasion: this is a gala and photo garment before it is a training one.
