The essentials: BOXING in very large gold capitals with a metallic effect, on a black tee with red trim. It is a ringer cut: contrast collar and sleeve bands, sewn on separately. The only generic tee in the catalogue in black and gold, the house colours. Premium cotton 180 gsm, heat transfer print. 5 sizes S to XXL, €29, free shipping.
One word, in metallic gold across the full width of the chest.
The ringer cut
This is not a plain tee with a print on it: it is a ringer, a construction where the collar and sleeve bands are in a contrast colour, sewn on separately from the body.
It is the cut of American sports tees from the 1960s and 1970s. Because the contrast is part of the garment, it cannot fade out in the wash.
The catalogue holds three: this one, the Roberto Durán and the Kamogawa Boxing Gym.
What it looks like on
The body — plain black.
The collar and cuffs — bright red, in rib.
The main print — BOXING in very large gold capitals, high on the chest, across almost the full width. The gold is treated with a metallic effect: it catches the light rather than sitting as a matte flat.
Under the word, ESTABLISHED IN : 2018 in small spaced capitals, in the same gold.
On the shoulder — a small gold emblem, set high, where a sleeve patch would sit.
Black and gold is the house identity — this is a generic tee carrying it, outside our house collection.
Premium cotton, crew neck, short sleeves, straight cut. Plain back.
Your size
European cut — take your usual size, with no adjustment. Five sizes, S to XXL, all at the same price. Chest runs from about 96 cm / 38 in on a S to 116 cm / 46 in on an XXL.
Beyond XXL, the Roberto Durán tee, also a ringer, goes up to 4XL.
