The gold version of our lace-up competition glove. The same idea as our velcro Gold model, built for fighting: laces replace the strap for maximum wrist hold. Genuine cowhide and a bright gold finish.
Why gold?
Gold is the colour of titles and belts. On a lace-up competition glove it marks your pair out immediately, with nothing given up on performance.
Genuine cowhide, nylon lining
The shell is genuine cowhide, hard-wearing and long-lasting, and it patinates with time. Inside, a nylon lining stops the hand sliding and limits the smell that comes with sweat.
Three foam layers
The padding combines three foam layers of different densities for progressive cushioning, with extra comfort foam at the fingertips. You protect the joints while keeping a precise shot and a clear feel of the impact.
Lace-up closure
Lacing wraps the wrist along its whole length for a competition hold.

Frequently asked questions
Laces or velcro: what is the difference?
Laces give the best wrist hold, which suits competition. Velcro is faster and lets you gear up alone, which suits training. This gold model laces up.
What does the nylon lining in a boxing glove do?
It stops the hand sliding inside the glove and limits the smell that comes with sweat, so the pair stays cleaner session after session.
What oz boxing gloves are used in competition?
10 oz as a rule, though the exact weight depends on your weight class and your federation's rules. 12 to 16 oz is for training.
Do gold boxing gloves differ in quality?
No. The colour is purely cosmetic: the build — cowhide, three foam layers, nylon lining, laces — is identical across the colours.
