The structure of the patch
The artwork borrows a precise code: the back patch of American motorcycle clubs, where a top rocker carries the club name and a bottom rocker the territory, with the emblem in between.
Here, THE NOTORIOUS takes the top rocker, CONOR MCGREGOR the bottom one, and the face stands in for the emblem.
That is what sets the register: not a fight poster, not a fan portrait, but an insignia.
