The essentials: the man who built a career on the outlaw persona, placed in the one frame missing from his collection — a mock booking photograph, except he is shouting rather than submitting. Entirely in black and white. Premium cotton 180 gsm in white, crew neck, heat transfer print. 7 sizes S to 4XL, €24, free shipping.
The funniest McGregor tee in the collection — and the one that takes a second longer to land.
It is not a fighter's portrait. It is a parody of a police booking photograph. Except that here, the man at the centre is shouting.
Why the joke works on him
The parody would not be funny with any fighter. It works with McGregor because the Irishman built his career on the outlaw persona.
He never just fought: he insulted opponents at press conferences, turned over tables, drove events built entirely around his willingness to go too far. Part of the audience loves him for it; another part dislikes him for exactly the same reason.
The result: his face inside a booking frame creates no dissonance at all. That is what gives the artwork its edge — the joke does not invent anything, it pushes an image he built himself one notch further.
The mugshot as a graphic format
The mugshot is one of the most reused visual formats in popular culture. Its power comes from its rigidity: head-on framing, height chart behind, numbered board. Always the same three elements, whoever the subject — which is precisely what makes it easy to subvert.
The format announces someone resigned, still, caught at their worst moment. The artwork puts a man in it with his mouth wide open, mid-shout. The contrast between the frame and the attitude is the whole joke.
What the persona covers
Behind the outlaw act there is a dated record. On 12 November 2016, at UFC 205 in Madison Square Garden, McGregor beat Eddie Alvarez and became the first fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two divisions at the same time. On 26 August 2017, he faced Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match in Las Vegas: one of the biggest-selling pay-per-view events of all time.
What it looks like on
Entirely black on white, drawn in line, with no half-tone. The style is close to engraving: hair, beard and the creases of the face are detailed line by line. On white the contrast is total: the artwork reads as one block, at distance.
The ink splatters running across the drawing are part of the artwork: they deliberately break the cleanness of the line and give the parody its look of something printed in a hurry, like a wanted poster.
White is the only ground: the artwork is entirely in black, and it lives on the contrast with a light ground. Premium cotton, crew neck, short sleeves, straight cut.
The detail that matters: the print is applied by heat transfer onto a PET film. That is what preserves the fine hatching of the drawing — hair, beard, creases of the face, the graduations of the height chart — without it closing up into black masses. The print stands up to wear and does not fade easily in the wash. Care: machine wash at 30 °C / 86 °F inside out, no fabric softener, no tumble dryer, do not iron the print.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a real mugshot of Conor McGregor?
No. It is a drawn parody, not a photograph: McGregor head on in front of a graduated height chart, mouth wide open, with a name board under the portrait. Everything is drawn in line, in black and white.
Why does the format work on McGregor?
Because the Irishman built his career on the outlaw persona: press conference provocations, a reputation for going too far. His face inside a booking frame creates no dissonance — the joke pushes an image he built himself one notch further.
What did Conor McGregor achieve in 2016?
On 12 November 2016, at UFC 205, he beat Eddie Alvarez and became the first fighter to hold two UFC belts at the same time, at featherweight and lightweight. He then faced Floyd Mayweather in boxing on 26 August 2017.
How does it differ from the UFC as KFC tee?
They are the two jokes in the family, in different registers. This one is a booking-photo parody, black and white line work, which takes a second to land. The UFC as KFC model reworks a fast-food logo in three clean colours: it reads instantly, even at distance.
Does it come in other colours?
White only: the artwork is entirely in black and lives on the contrast with a light ground. For a choice of colourways in the same black and white register, see the crest, offered in ten shades.
Which size should I take?
Standard European cut: take your usual size. Seven sizes, S to 4XL, with the chest running from about 96 cm / 38 in to 132 cm / 52 in.
