Satin: a technical choice before it is a look
Every boxing outfit shines, and the reason has nothing to do with spectacle. Here it is a short hooded robe in red and white striped satin, with shorts on a blue waistband marked BALBOA. Satin is a weave, not a fibre: the weft threads pass under several warp threads in a row instead of alternating one for one. The surface therefore presents long parallel runs of thread, which reflect light instead of scattering it.
That weave gives three properties that are useful in a ring. The surface is smooth, so an opponent's glove slides instead of catching. The fabric does not hold water and does not grow heavy as sweat arrives. And it hangs straight without clinging to the legs, which leaves footwork unrestricted.
It is also why a boxing robe is never towelling: it would do exactly the opposite.
The set
The robe: satin with vertical red and white bands, a short cut stopping at mid-thigh, lined hood, three-quarter sleeves. The trim is blue with white stars: hood edge, cuffs, hem. The starred blue belt ties at the waist and leaves two hanging ends.

What separates it from the Creed robe
The two sets share the striped motif and the stars, but the cut is not the same. This one is short, at mid-thigh, with sleeves and a tie belt. The Creed 3 robe is long, running to the ankle, and closes with a belt too, but with a black-lined hood. The word embroidered on the shorts waistband separates them as well: BALBOA here, CREED there.
The short robe leaves the shorts visible, which is what makes the set read as a whole in a photograph.
