The essentials: a mid top boxing shoe in black and gold or white and black. Full lacing backed by a hook-and-loop strap across the instep, a pull loop at the heel, and a spiral pivot disc moulded under the forefoot. 13 sizes from EU 35 to 47 (US men's 3.5 to 12.5). €99, free delivery.
Turn a boxing shoe over and look under the ball of the foot, just behind the toes. On this model the rubber there forms a concentric spiral about ten centimetres / four inches across. It is not decoration: it is the point the foot turns around when you load a hook or come out of a corner. The ribs run out from the centre in circles, so rotation meets the same resistance whichever way it goes, where a linear pattern grips one way and slips the other.
The heel carries a smaller disc of the same kind. Between the two, the rubber is ribbed in parallel arcs to hold on forward and backward movement.
Lacing plus strap: two adjustments doing different jobs
The lacing sets the overall volume of the foot, from the toe to the collar. The hook-and-loop strap across the instep does something else: it pulls the foot back into the shoe, against the heel counter. That is what stops the foot sliding forward when you brake a movement.
Practical benefit: the strap can be pulled tight one-handed between rounds, with wraps on and gloves on, where a lace means undoing everything.
Two colourways
Black and gold — all black, BOXING lettering in gold repeated on the side panel and on the collar, black mesh on the forefoot, black sole.
White — white and black, BOXING lettering in black on a black band, black mesh on the forefoot, white sole.
On both versions a pull loop is stitched at the back of the heel: it is there so you can put the shoe on without crushing the counter, a habit that eventually distorts a mid top upper.

Frequently asked questions
Should you size up in boxing shoes?
Not on this model. The scale is in European sizes: someone who wears a 42 in town takes a 42 here. If needed, measure the length of the foot and apply (3 × length in cm + 4) / 2. If the measurement falls between two sizes, take the larger: a thin sock makes up a few millimetres, the reverse does not.
What is the disc under the sole of a boxing shoe for?
Turning the foot on the spot. The disc is a set of concentric ribs moulded under the forefoot, directly beneath the area carrying the weight during a pivot. Because the circles are symmetrical, rotation meets the same resistance in every direction, which a pattern of straight lines does not.
Boxing shoes with laces or with a strap?
Both here. The lacing sets the volume along the whole length of the foot; the strap pulls the instep against the heel counter. The strap has a concrete advantage: it can be tightened one-handed mid-session, with wraps on, without undoing the lacing.
Are there boxing shoes in small sizes?
This reference goes down to EU 35, which is uncommon: most of the market starts at 38 or 39. It runs up to 47 on the same page, thirteen consecutive sizes.
Are boxing shoes unisex?
Yes. The fit is unisex and the scale European. The width is standard: on a wide foot, taking the next size up and working the lacing gives more comfort than forcing the tightness.
How do you look after boxing shoes?
A damp cloth on the upper and the sole after every session, laces washed separately by hand, air drying. Never on a radiator: direct heat stiffens the assembly adhesives and shortens the life of the sole.
