Tattooed boxer 5 piece canvas

- Regular price€29,00

The essentials: a tattooed boxer, wrapped forearms crossed in front of his chest, each wrap marked with a black cross, on a black and red ground. 5 panel polyptych, 4 size grids, from 50 to 200 cm / 20 to 79 in of total width. From €29 to €149 depending on size and framing.
Twenty-seven bones in one hand
A human hand contains 27 bones. The most common fracture in boxing hits the fifth metacarpal, the one behind the little finger — so common that it is known as the boxer's fracture.
That is what the wrap is for: it binds the metacarpals together and locks the wrist in line with the forearm. It protects the hand doing the hitting far more than the face receiving it.
What you see
A man is framed from the chin to the waist across the centre panels: head up, the face cut off at the mouth, short beard. Both forearms are wrapped in white tape and crossed in front of his chest, each carrying a black cross drawn on the wrap.
His shoulders and arms are covered in red and black tattoos. The ground is black, cut by red diagonal bands on the outer panels. From 3 m / 10 ft you see a white X at the centre of a black and red ground; from 1 m / 3 ft the weave of the tape and the tattoo lines come through.

How to hang a 5 panel canvas
The five panels go side by side: the image is continuous and reassembles in one piece. Put up the centrepanel first, its middle 145 cm / 57 in from the floor, then add the panels in pairs eitherside, checking the level at each pair. A paper template on the wall before drilling saves redoing the holes.
The width rule is the same as for a single canvas: the set covers about two thirds of the width ofthe furniture below it. The size chart by wall type gives the full size-to-placement table.

Frequently asked questions
What size 5 piece canvas should I choose?
The five panels are hung side by side, so what counts is the total width — 50, 100, 150 or 200 cm / 20, 39, 59 or 79 in depending on the grid — not the size of a single panel. Allow the second grid above a chest of drawers, the 30 × 40 grid above a three-seater sofa, and the 40 × 60 grid on a clear wall over three metres / 10 ft.
How do I hang a canvas in 5 parts?
Start with the centre panel, its middle 145 cm / 57 in from the floor, then add the panels in pairs either side, checking the level at each pair. A paper template on the wall before drilling saves redoing the holes.
Does it arrive ready to hang?
Two options in the selector. Without frame: the panels ship rolled in a protective tube with a white border, to be mounted on stretchers. With frame: they arrive already mounted on wooden stretchers, ready to hang. The five stretcher kit covers the panels sold on their own.
What are boxing hand wraps for?
They bind the 27 bones of the hand together and lock the wrist in line with the forearm. The most common break in boxing is the fifth metacarpal, known as the boxer's fracture. The wrap protects the hand throwing, not the face receiving.
Are the 5 panels sold together?
Yes. The price covers the five panels, and the grid chosen applies to the set: the panels are not sold separately and ship together.
How do I clean a canvas print?
A dry microfibre cloth handles almost everything. For a mark that stays, use a barely damp cloth with no detergent, wiping across the surface. No abrasive sponge, no glass cleaner.
