In short: ceramic mug with a black body, coloured interior and handle, carrying the NO BOXING NO LIFE block and the CA monogram of Saúl Canelo Álvarez in white. Capacity 330 ml / 11 oz. Six interior colourways. €29, free standard shipping.
The body is black on all six variants; the colour covers the interior and the handle, and appears as you lift the mug and as you hold it. The block is printed in white across the full wall: three serif lines, four stars, and the CA monogram underneath.
No Boxing No Life: a motto the gyms know
Saúl Canelo Álvarez made NO BOXING NO LIFE his public motto after his first WBC world title in 2011, and the phrase has since left his camp for gyms everywhere. The CA monogram printed under the lettering sets his initials interlocked: anyone who trains recognises the whole thing without reading it.
Six colourways
- Black: interior and handle matched to the body, an all black mug.
- Red: the colour of competition gloves.
- Navy: the quietest dark shade on a desk, close to the black of the body.
- Sky blue: the pastel of the range, a sharp contrast with the black body.
- Green: apple green, the lightest of the six after the sky blue.
- Pink: a true pink, matching our No Boxing No Life cushion cover.
On all six the body stays black: that is what keeps the white lettering legible at five metres / sixteen feet whichever interior shade you pick.

Good to know before ordering
The artwork is surface printed. It holds up to everyday use; a hand wash or a delicate cycle keeps the white lettering crisp for years.
Drying with a cloth keeps the black deep. On a dark wall, wiping after rinsing rather than leaving it to drain is enough to hold the shade even, with no limescale film.
The body stays black on all six variants. The interior and the handle carry the colour named.
Ceramic dislikes thermal shock. Avoid pouring boiling water into a mug straight out of the fridge, and do not take it from the microwave to cold water.
Care
Hand wash in warm soapy water, or a delicate dishwasher cycle. Avoid abrasive sponges on the lettering. Tea or coffee marks at the base come away with a little diluted bicarbonate left to work for an hour, without scrubbing. On dark shades, dry with a cloth rather than leaving it to drain.
FAQ
Which parts of the mug are coloured?
The interior and the handle. The outer body is black on all six variants, which holds the white lettering at maximum contrast. The colour appears as you lift the mug and as you hold it.
What is the capacity?
330 ml / 11 oz, the standard size of a European coffee mug, which is one long black coffee or two espressos.
What does No Boxing No Life mean?
Taken literally: no boxing, no life. It is the public motto of Saúl Canelo Álvarez, WBC super middleweight world champion, which moved from his camp to gyms worldwide. The CA monogram printed underneath sets his initials interlocked.
Is it dishwasher safe?
On a delicate cycle, yes. A hand wash in warm soapy water is what best preserves the crispness of the white lettering, year after year.
How many colourways are there?
Six: black, red, navy, sky blue, green and pink, all at the same price. The body stays black and the lettering white on all six; the interior and the handle carry the colour.
Does it make a good gift?
For anyone who trains, yes: the motto lands straight away in the gym, no size to guess, and six shades to match the recipient's taste.
