In July 2018, in Moscow, Oleksandr Usyk beat Murat Gassiev in the World Boxing Super Series final and brought the four cruiserweight belts together: the first undisputed champion of the division since the fourth sanctioning body was created. Six years earlier he had been Olympic champion in London. A southpaw out of the Ukrainian amateur school, he is known for footwork his opponents describe as the hardest to follow in his generation.
