In 1910, in New York, Jacob Golomb set up a small workshop making swimsuits he guaranteed for a year — hence the name Everlast. Seven years later Jack Dempsey asked him for gloves that could last a full training camp. The workshop became the outfitter of American boxing, and its logo one of the most recognisable marks in the sport. That logo, on its own, is what fills this blanket.
What the visual shows
Plain black ground. The brand name is printed in white arched capitals across the full width, so large that the end letters touch the edges. Below the lettering, the brand symbol in white. Nothing else: two colours, one shape, readable from one end of a room to the other.
Choosing your size

Good to know
Wash cold with dark laundry and no fabric softener: the microfibre keeps its softness and the print its contrast. Low-heat tumble drying brings the loft back after several washes.

Frequently asked questions
What size blanket should I choose for a sofa?
150x125 cm / 59x49 in for a two-seat sofa, 200x150 cm / 79x59 in for a three-seat, 125x100 cm / 49x39 in for an armchair or a sofa back. The complete match-up is in the size guide.
How old is the Everlast brand?
It dates from 1910, founded in New York by Jacob Golomb. It first made swimsuits guaranteed for a year, which gave the company its name, before making gloves for Jack Dempsey from 1917.
How do you wash a dark blanket without it bleeding?
Cold, with dark laundry, no softener and no bleach. The first two washes can release a little dye, as any new dark textile does.
Does this blanket work for decorating a training room?
The 200x150 cm / 79x59 in hangs on a wall like a banner and the logo stays readable from several metres away. For strictly wall use, plan on a rail or clips: the blanket has no eyelets and no tabs.
Is the design printed on both sides?
No, on one side only. The reverse is plain and smooth, so the blanket can be turned over when you want a neutral finish on the sofa.
The same world carries on with boxing wall art and the rest of the boxing decoration.
