Cobra Kai zip hoodie

- Regular price€39,00

The essentials: the most hated dojo in cinema, turned into the hero of its own show thirty-four years later. Cobra and creed on the front, FEAR · PAIN · DEFEAT on the back, sleeves printed too. The off-white is deliberately worn: the garment leaves the box with ten years of training on it. 4 colours, 6 sizes from S to XXXL, European cut — take your usual size. €39, free standard shipping.
Three words that do not exist in this dojo
The Cobra Kai dojo appears in The Karate Kid in 1984 as the villain’s school: the motto Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy, and a banner across the wall declaring that fear does not exist in this dojo. Then pain. Then defeat.
That triptych is what runs across the back: FEAR, PAIN, DEFEAT, each followed by the same line in small type.
In 2018 a series picked the character up thirty-four years later and flipped the point of view: the villain became the protagonist. That reversal is why the cobra logo is now worn well beyond karate circles.
The artwork
Front: the rearing cobra, hood spread, straddling the zip, with NO MERCY beneath it. On the left shoulder, a round patch carries the dojo’s full creed: STRIKE FIRST · STRIKE HARD · NO MERCY. Opposite it, a small roundel with a closed fist.
Back: Cobra Kai Never Dies in script, then FEAR, PAIN and DEFEAT stacked in heavy capitals, each followed by does not exist in this dojo. The sleeves carry diagonal bars and a cobra at the cuff.
Everything is printed in a slightly worn off-white, never a clean flat: the garment leaves the box with ten years of training on it.
The garment
Full-length zip, hood, side pockets, ribbed cuffs and hem. The zip means it goes on and off without passing over your head.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Cobra Kai motto?
Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy. It is the creed of the dojo introduced in The Karate Kid in 1984, and it is printed in full on the shoulder patch of this hoodie.
What do FEAR, PAIN and DEFEAT mean on the back?
They are the three words from the dojo banner: fear, pain and defeat do not exist in this dojo. Each one is followed by that same line in small type.
What size should I order?
European cut — take your usual size, with no conversion to apply. Six sizes, S to XXXL, at one price across all four colourways.
Is the print only on the front?
No. Front, back and sleeves all carry artwork, which makes it the most covered piece in the collection.
What is the difference between the four colourways?
The print colour: white on red, or grey, gold, or gold and white on black. The selector spells each one out.
How do you wash a printed zip hoodie?
The artwork is applied by heat transfer on PET film, so it holds through the wash without flaking. Machine wash at 30 °C / 86 °F inside out, no tumble dryer, no iron on the print.
