The nickname Borz means wolf
Khamzat Chimaev was born in 1994 in Chechnya and moved to Sweden as a teenager. His nickname, Borz, means wolf in Chechen — the animal appears on the region's traditional emblem, and it is the one at the centre of this crest.
He became known in 2020 for a run nobody attempts any more: four wins in 66 days, two of them in two different weight classes, the last taking 17 seconds.
The artwork
The main print is on the back: a large circular medallion with a double rule, KHAMZAT round the upper arc and CHIMAEV round the lower, in heavy serif capitals.
Two lines run inside the circle: SWEDISH PROFESSIONAL MMA FIGHTER above, WELTERWEIGHT DIVISION OF UFC below. At the centre, a wolf's head face on, jaws open, in graded grey, flanked by 19 and 94. The same crest is repeated small on the left chest.
The garment
Lined hood with a drawcord, kangaroo pocket, ribbed cuffs and hem. Straight cut, set-in long sleeves.

Frequently asked questions
What does Khamzat Chimaev's nickname Borz mean?
Wolf, in Chechen. The animal is on the traditional emblem of Chechnya, where he was born in 1994, and it sits at the centre of the crest printed here.
What does the 1994 on this hoodie stand for?
His year of birth, split as 19 and 94 either side of the wolf at the centre of the medallion.
Is the print on the front or the back?
Mainly the back, which carries the full crest. The same design is repeated small on the left chest.
How many colours are there?
Twelve, from black and navy to yellow, pink and orange, all at the same price.
What size should I take?
European cut — take your usual size, with no Asian sizing to convert. Six sizes from S to XXXL, all at the same price. Over training kit, go up one.
How do I care for the print?
Machine wash at 30 °C / 86 °F inside out, no tumble dryer, and never run an iron over the print. Heat transfer film holds for years on that routine and gives way to heat, not to washing.
