What a jacket back says in a boxing gym
In gyms the club name goes on the back. The habit comes from British and American sports clubs of the nineteenth century and has never moved: the front of the garment stays plain, the back carries the affiliation, because that is what the rest of the room sees when you are on the bag or on the rope.
The composition printed here follows exactly that grammar. The name very large, the city below it smaller, BOXING CLUB below that, and finally a framed year. On real club jackets that last line is the founding date — it is what gives the rest its authority.

The garment
Light unlined shell, windbreaker type. Hood set on the collar, full-length zip, two side pockets, elasticated cuffs and hem. It is worn open or closed, the hood lining showing at the collar when open.
Two prints only. On the left chest, the same composition in miniature, barely wider than a pocket. On the back, the full-width version, centred between the shoulder blades and running down to mid-back.
The 11 colourways and the two print colours
These are not eleven jacket colours but six shades with two print colours: gold or white. Each label says which — Black, gold print; Grey, white print; and so on.
The shades: navy, black, grey, red and royal blue exist in both print colours; white exists with the gold print only. The gold has an aged look, with a gradient from yellow to brown; the white is flat and more contrasted on dark shells.

Read it straight off: if you normally wear a M, order the XL. If you wear a L, order the XXL. The largest size in the selector, 6XL, matches a European 4XL, that is 124 cm / 49 in chest.
