Boxing ring floor mat

- Regular price€1.290,00

The essentials: a Flexi-Roll type floor mat that covers the surface of your ring with a cushioned, customisable layer. Built from a 30 mm / 1.2 in underlay — the thickness we recommend for boxing — with an integrated non-slip surface, it rolls and unrolls in seconds. Also available in 40 and 50 mm / 1.6 and 2 in for MMA and throwing disciplines. Colour of your choice, printed logo included. From 4x4 to 7x7 m / 13x13 to 23x23 ft (bespoke on request), 2 year warranty, standard delivery included. From €1,290.
A boxing ring floor mat is the surface layer for a floor-level, wall-mounted or platform ring that has no integrated deck. Flexi-Roll in construction, it pairs an underlay with a fully customisable integrated finishing surface, for a training and competition surface that is comfortable and carries your identity.
Because it rolls, it goes down or comes up in seconds — practical for clubs, multi-purpose halls and event organisers.
Which thickness for your discipline
This is the first call to make, and it turns on the nature of the falls rather than on comfort. The thicker a mat, the more it absorbs a landing — and the more it also absorbs the push of the foot.
| Thickness | Disciplines | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 30 mm / 1.2 in (standard) | Boxing, kickboxing and striking arts | Firm footing and precise movement: you stay standing, and the foot should not sink |
| 40 mm / 1.6 in (on request) | MMA, throwing disciplines | Extra absorption for takedowns and controlled falls |
| 50 mm / 2 in (on request) | Grappling, wrestling, intensive ground work | Repeated falls and long spells on the ground |
Our advice: thickness is chosen on the nature of the falls, not on comfort. In boxing, 30 mm / 1.2 in gives the firm footing that keeps pivots clean and movement precise all the way through a round. 40 and 50 mm / 1.6 and 2 in bring their absorption where bodies actually hit the floor: MMA, grappling, wrestling.
The 40 and 50 mm options are made on request: write to info@esprit-boxe.com with your discipline and your dimensions.

Frequently asked questions
How thick should a boxing ring mat be?
30 mm / 1.2 in is the thickness we recommend for boxing and striking arts: you stay standing, and the footing needs to be firm so the footwork keeps its precision. For MMA and throwing disciplines we make 40 mm / 1.6 in on request, and 50 mm / 2 in for intensive ground work.
Why not simply take the thickest mat?
Because thickness is chosen according to the nature of the falls. In standing boxing, 30 mm / 1.2 in gives the firm footing that keeps pivots clean and movement precise through a full round. 40 and 50 mm bring their absorption where bodies actually hit the floor: MMA, grappling, wrestling.
What is a Flexi-Roll mat?
A mat built from an underlay, 30 mm / 1.2 in as standard, with an integrated non-slip surface. It rolls and unrolls in seconds, which makes installation and storage straightforward, particularly in multi-purpose halls.
What sizes are available?
The mat comes in 4x4 m / 13x13 ft (16 m²), 5x5 m / 16x16 ft (25 m²), 6x6 m / 20x20 ft (36 m²) and 7x7 m / 23x23 ft (49 m²). Other dimensions are made to measure on request.
Can it be customised?
Yes, customisation is included: colour of your choice and your logo printed directly onto the surface. Our team signs off the artwork with you before manufacturing starts.
Which type of ring does it suit?
Any ring that needs a surface layer: a floor-level ring, a wall-mounted ring or a platform ring with no integrated deck.
