Key facts: the Olympic boxing ring is built to the official dimensions: 6.10 × 6.10 m / 20 ft between the ropes, 7.80 × 7.80 m / 25 ft 7 in overall, 1 m / 3 ft 3 in platform. Designed to International Boxing Association (AIBA) and Olympic standards, CE certified. High-density powder-coated steel structure with quick slot-together assembly, no screws. Tricolour finish, high-resistance timber deck and high-density shock mat, UV-printed skirt, 3 sets of steps, stools and spit buckets for both boxers. 10-year structural warranty, standard delivery included. €13,990.
Six metres ten between the ropes, seventy centimetres of apron on each side: those are the dimensions the International Boxing Association sets for Olympic tournaments, and the ones this ring is built to. The apron is not a decorative overhang — it is the strip that keeps a boxer pushed onto the ropes with something under his feet.
Raised on a 1 m / 3 ft 3 in platform, the height that puts the fighting area at the eye level of the ringside judges, it carries the full equipment of an official bout: sleeved ropes with corner protection, high-resistance timber deck, shock mat, removable stools and spit buckets. The powder-coated structure slots together, with no screws at all.
Why choose an Olympic ring?
This is the ring in the range built to exact regulation dimensions — 6.10 m between the ropes, 7.80 m overall, a 1 m platform — where the other formats are chosen freely from 4 × 4 to 8 × 8 m. It is aimed at championships, international galas and training centres hosting sanctioned competition.
For a top-end competition ring with a freer choice of format, see the competition ring, from 6×6 to 8×8 m. For an adjustable club or gala lift, the raised ring covers 10 to 50 cm.
- Built to AIBA and Olympic standards, CE certified.
- 1 m / 3 ft 3 in platform and 6.10 × 6.10 m / 20 ft between the ropes.
- Powder-coated structure, no screws, quick slot-together assembly.
- Complete kit: stools, spit buckets, 3 sets of steps, UV printing for sponsors.
Official dimensions
- Inside (between the ropes): 6.10 × 6.10 m / 20 ft × 20 ft.
- Outside (overall): 7.80 × 7.80 m / 25 ft 7 in × 25 ft 7 in.
- Platform height: 1 m / 3 ft 3 in, the Olympic standard.
How much floor space do you need?
The platform footprint is 7.80 × 7.80 m / 25 ft 7 in square. Add circulation for officials and seconds, the projection of the three sets of access steps and room for the judges' tables: allow 10 × 10 m / 32 ft 10 in square of free floor as a minimum, more if the crowd surrounds the ring. For height, the 1 m platform adds to the boxers' height and their raised arms, so check your ceiling clearance before ordering. The ring is free-standing; no floor anchoring is needed.
