Key facts: the raised boxing ring lifts the fighting area by 10, 30 or 50 cm / 4 to 19.7 in — up to 100 cm / 3 ft 3 in on request. Four sizes: 4×4, 5×5, 6×6 and 7×7 m / 13 ft 1 in to 23 ft outer footprint, giving 3×3, 4×4, 5×5 and 6×6 m fighting areas between the ropes — larger on request. Free-standing galvanised steel structure, access steps, acoustic deck and mat, a skirt that hides the frame, and ropes with a braided steel cable core. Custom colours and logo. Made to order in 2 to 3 weeks, 10-year structural warranty, standard delivery included. From €5,490.
The raised ring lifts the fighting area onto a galvanised steel platform. Acoustic OSB deck, acoustic ring mat, a skirt that hides the structure and a set of access steps: this is the ring for clubs that want to train close to official conditions and give the gym a centrepiece.
Fully free-standing, it needs no fixing to the floor: assembly is bolted, with instructions and drawing supplied. You choose the size, the platform height, the colours and the design — down to the skirt and the steps — for a ring built to your identity.
Why choose a raised ring?
A raised ring brings your boxers closer to the feel of an official bout: height, sightlines, comfort and a clean edge to the fighting area. The skirt hides the whole structure and the 3 cm / 1.2 in acoustic OSB deck damps the sound of footwork, which matters in a shared building or on an upper floor.
It is the choice of clubs wanting training close to competition conditions and a permanent, finished installation. Note that official competition generally calls for a 100 cm / 3 ft 3 in platform — for that approved format, see the competition ring and the Olympic ring. At floor level, the fixed floor ring anchors on four base plates and the demountable floor ring goes up and down with no drilling.
- Raised platform of 10, 30 or 50 cm / 4 to 19.7 in (up to 100 cm / 3 ft 3 in).
- Access steps included and customisable.
- Acoustic deck and mat, plus a skirt that hides the structure.
- Free-standing, no floor fixing, bolted assembly.
Sizes available
Four standard outer sizes, from beginner format to the larger competition-style formats:
- 4 × 4 m / 13 ft 1 in ring — 3 × 3 m / 9 ft 10 in fighting area between the ropes.
- 5 × 5 m / 16 ft 5 in ring — 4 × 4 m / 13 ft 1 in fighting area between the ropes.
- 6 × 6 m / 19 ft 8 in ring — 5 × 5 m / 16 ft 5 in fighting area between the ropes.
- 7 × 7 m / 23 ft ring — 6 × 6 m / 19 ft 8 in fighting area between the ropes.
- Larger sizes on request at info@esprit-boxe.com.
The size quoted is the outer footprint of the platform. The fighting area between the ropes is set back 50 cm / 19.7 in on each side, so 1 m / 3 ft 3 in less overall; allow a circulation margin and the space taken by the steps on top of that.
How much floor space do you need?
The quoted size is the outer footprint of the platform, skirt included. Add 1 m / 3 ft 3 in of clearance on each side for circulation, plus about 1 m / 3 ft 3 in for the projection of the access steps: a 6 × 6 m ring therefore needs 8 × 8 m / 26 ft 3 in square of free floor, steps included. The floor must be level and carry the weight of the structure; no anchoring is needed, as the platform is free-standing. For headroom, add the chosen platform height to your boxers' height to check the clearance.

Raised, competition or Olympic ring?
The raised ring is the versatile elevated option: adjustable platform from 10 to 50 cm, up to 100 cm, with steps, skirt and acoustic deck. It lets clubs train close to official conditions. Since official competition generally calls for a 100 cm platform, the approved formats are the competition ring and the Olympic ring, which meets AIBA dimensions.
Frequently asked questions
What platform height should I choose?
30 cm / 11.8 in is the most common height for club training. 10 cm / 4 in gives a slight lift with easy access, 50 cm / 19.7 in comes closer to the feel of a competition ring, and 100 cm / 3 ft 3 in — the official competition height — is available on request.
Do I need to drill the floor?
No. The platform is free-standing and bolts together, so nothing is fixed to the floor. The floor simply has to be level and carry the weight of the structure.
Is it quiet enough for an upper floor?
The deck pairs 3 cm / 1.2 in of acoustic OSB with a 3 cm / 1.2 in acoustic mat, which damps the sound of footwork and falls. That combination is what makes the ring workable in a shared building or above another room.
What size ring should I choose?
4 × 4 m / 13 ft 1 in for beginners, 5 × 5 m and 6 × 6 m for club training and sparring, 7 × 7 m / 23 ft for the larger competition-style formats. The area between the ropes is set back 50 cm / 19.7 in on each side.
Can we put our logo on the ring?
Yes. The logo is printed on the skirt and on the canvas, and you choose the colours of the ropes, turnbuckles, rope spacers, floor covering, skirt and access steps.
Are delivery and assembly included?
Standard delivery is included and goes by lorry, so the site must be accessible to heavy goods vehicles. Assembly is carried out by the customer, with the fitting instructions and assembly drawing supplied.
