The eight posts of the octagon take either the mesh panels or the ropes: the same frame serves MMA and English boxing, and switching between the two takes minutes, with no complicated tooling.
It is aimed at clubs and promoters running several disciplines on the same platform and broadcasting their events. The Sidewalk carries the camera mounts and the perimeter lighting.
The Sidewalk with TV and LED mounts
A perimeter platform 100 cm / 3 ft 3 in wide surrounds the fighting area. Its mesh zone takes lighting, and TV mounts fixed to the posts make the camera crews' job easier. Cameras work from the platform rather than from the floor, at the height of the fighting area.

Switching from cage mode to ring mode
- MMA cage mode: approved fencing, 8 posts plus 8 panels that slot onto them (including gates), shock-absorbing floor — for MMA, grappling and cage fighting.
- Boxing ring mode: removable posts and ropes (4 sets of ropes, 4 corner pads, 16 rope spacers) — for English boxing and kick-based disciplines.
Converting from one to the other takes a few minutes, with no complicated tooling.

What floor space and what headroom do you need?
The overall footprint is 11 m / 36 ft, Sidewalk included. Add circulation for officials, camera crews and seconds, plus the projection of the two sets of access steps: allow 13 × 13 m / 42 ft 8 in square of free floor as a minimum, more if the crowd surrounds the structure. For height, the 100 cm platform adds to the 1.90 m panels, so nearly 3 m / 9 ft 10 in at the top of the fencing, plus the clearance needed above that. The structure is free-standing; no floor anchoring is required.

- Reinforced tubular frames with protective foam, laced leatherette covering.

Deck and dressing:
- 1 acoustic deck in M1 fire-rated plywood, 2.5 cm / 1 in thick.

- 1 tensioned canvas in PVC or cotton (customer's choice), non-slip and flame-retardant, with a perimeter skirt hiding the structure.

Production time and delivery
Every cage is made to order. Production and customisation take 3 to 4 weeks from sign-off on the design, colours, logos and Sidewalk configuration. Delivery follows within 6 to 8 weeks, by lorry: the site must be accessible to heavy goods vehicles. Assembly is modular and carried out by the customer: the structure is free-standing, the panels slot onto the posts with no floor drilling required, and instructions and an assembly drawing are supplied.
Warranty
The structure is guaranteed for 10 years. The corners and the floor mat are guaranteed for 2 years. The warranty applies under normal use of the cage.
Hybrid cage or plain ring?

How long does the conversion take?
A few minutes. The eight posts stay in place; you swap the mesh panels for the removable posts and ropes, or the other way round, with no complicated tooling.

Do I need to drill the floor?
No. The structure is free-standing and the panels slot onto the posts, so no floor drilling is required. The floor must be level and carry the load.
Is it approved for sanctioned MMA?
It complies with IMMAF and FMMAF certifications, with UFC and BELLATOR regulations, and with European safety standards under CE certification, including the two approved 90 cm gates.
What is the warranty?
10 years on the structure, 2 years on the corners and the floor mat, under normal use of the cage.
