The ring rope is a safety component: it has to hold serious tension and still be comfortable on contact. Ours is built around a high-tensile 5 mm / 0.2 in braided steel cable rated to 2 tonnes / 4,400 lb, wrapped in high-density foam and finished with a leatherette skin, for a final diameter of 40 mm / 1.6 in.
The end rings are cold-pressed, with no welding and no mechanical clamping, and the rope comes in five colours — red, white, blue, black or tricolour — with any colour available on request to match your ring.
