The essentials: the Esprit Boxe inflatable ring in size L, 5.75 × 5.75 m / 18 ft 10 in overall for a 4 × 4 m / 13 ft 1 in fighting area, available to rent in French-speaking Switzerland. Two rates: CHF 300 per day and CHF 500 for a weekend. Collection and return at the depot by you, blower, ropes and storage bag included, inflated in minutes.
For two centuries the boxing booths followed the British fairgrounds: at every stop the fighters put up the ring, the tent and the platform themselves before taking on all comers from the crowd, and Jimmy Wilde and Tommy Farr both learnt their trade on them. The format faded after 1947, when the British Boxing Board of Control barred its licence-holders from booth fights, but the idea of an arena that travels is still the best way to bring boxing to people outside a gym.
That is exactly what this inflatable ring is for: a complete fighting area set down on a village square, in a school yard, under a marquee or in a hall, inflated in minutes and packed away the same evening. Renting avoids the outlay of a purchase for a club, a local authority or a company running one or two events a year.
Two rates, collection at the depot
Both rates cover the same service: you collect the ring at the depot, set it up on your site, and bring it back once the event is over.
- Day rate — for a single-day activation: open day, tournament, company day, village fete.
- Weekend rate — for an event running Saturday to Sunday, or to have Saturday morning for the set-up and Monday for the return.
Transport both ways is yours to arrange. The ring and its accessories travel in their storage bag: the package weighs around 50 kg / 110 lb, which calls for a van, or an estate car with the rear seats folded down, and a second person for the handling.
Booking: dates are held on order, subject to availability. Write to info@esprit-boxe.com with the date of your event and the canton: we confirm availability and send you the depot address.
Where: French-speaking Switzerland
Rental is offered in French-speaking Switzerland only: Geneva, Vaud, Valais, Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Jura. The depot sits inside that area, which makes collection a same-day round trip from any of those cantons. The folding boxing ring is offered there on the same terms, for a full training ring.
Outside that area, purchase is the route: the inflatable boxing ring ships across France, Switzerland and Europe with delivery included.
What the rental includes
- The size L inflatable ring, walls and 4 corner posts.
- The 1800 W blower (230 V, 50 Hz).
- The 50 mm / 2 in webbing ropes.
- The storage bag and the repair kit.
- The user manual.
Giant foam gloves, headguards and floor matting are not part of the package. If your activation calls for them, say so in your message and we will point you to the right option.
How much floor space you need on site
Start from the footprint of the ring, 5.75 m / 18 ft 10 in a side, then add at least 1 m / 3 ft 3 in of clearance on every face for spectators and staff: that brings the free floor to 7.75 × 7.75 m / 25 ft 5 in square. The corner posts top out at 1.70 m / 5 ft 7 in, a height that clears any village hall or sports hall ceiling. Set the ring on flat ground, cleared of gravel and sharp objects.
Set-up and inflation
Unroll the structure over the area, plug the 1800 W blower into a 230 V socket, and the ring takes shape in minutes. The blower then comes off: the structure stays inflated for hours, even days. Packing away follows the same route in reverse, allowing drying time if the ring has been used outdoors in wet weather.

Frequently asked questions
Where can this inflatable boxing ring be rented?
In French-speaking Switzerland only: Geneva, Vaud, Valais, Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Jura. The depot sits inside that area and collection happens on site, which makes a same-day round trip workable from any of those cantons. Outside that area the same ring is available to buy, with delivery included across France, Switzerland and Europe.
How much space do you need to set up the ring?
7.75 × 7.75 m / 25 ft 5 in of free floor: 5.75 m / 18 ft 10 in of footprint for the structure, plus 1 m / 3 ft 3 in of clearance on each face for circulation. The usable fighting area inside the ropes measures 4 × 4 m / 13 ft 1 in. Corner posts reach 1.70 m / 5 ft 7 in, so ceiling height is not a constraint in a village hall or a sports hall.
How long does an inflatable ring take to set up?
A few minutes once the structure is unrolled and the 1800 W blower is plugged into a 230 V socket. The blower then comes off and the ring stays inflated for hours, even days. Allow roughly the same for packing away, plus drying time if the ring has been used outdoors in wet weather.
What vehicle do you need to collect the ring?
The ring, its four corner posts, the blower and the ropes travel in one storage bag. A van, or an estate car with the rear seats folded down, does the job. Plan for a second person to help with the handling: the structure is easier to carry between two. Write to us before you come if you want to check that your vehicle is big enough.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. The 0.6 mm / 0.024 in reinforced PVC tarpaulin is waterproof and UV-treated, which suits it to open air as much as indoors. Set it on flat ground, cleared of gravel and sharp objects. For an outdoor event running all day, the canopy version adds a roof over the fighting area.
How do you book a date?
Write to info@esprit-boxe.com with the date of your event, the canton and the rate you want, day or weekend. We confirm availability and send you the depot address along with collection and return times. Dates are held on order, subject to availability.
