In short: The Fairtex short in pink, cursive logo in white outlined in black, with silver scrollwork down both legs. The only pink short in the whole collection. 8 sizes, XS to 4XL. €59.
The only pink short on the rail
Fairtex is one of the oldest and most respected names in Muay Thai, equipping camps and professional fighters out of Thailand for decades. Its shorts are cut longer in the leg than the Thai average, which is what fighters look for in the model.
Pink has a particular history in the sport. It reads as a deliberate choice in a division of black and red, and it has been worn at the top level by fighters who wanted exactly that. On a rail where almost everything is dark, this is the one short nobody mistakes for another.
Counted colourway by colourway across the whole shorts collection, this is the only pink ground on a Muay Thai cut.
What the shorts look like
Deep pink ground. On the left thigh, the cursive logo in white outlined in black, at a large scale. Down both legs, broad silver scrollwork in stylised volutes, outlined in black, running along the splits.
The wide elastic waistband is black, which cuts against the ground. Satin finish.
A high split under a longer leg
The scrollwork runs down the line of the side splits, which is where the eye goes when the leg lifts. That is not accidental: on a Thai short the split is the functional part, and the ornament traditionally follows it.
Underneath the decoration the geometry is the standard Fairtex one — high split over the hip for the kick and the clinch, with the leg cut a little longer than the Thai average.

Worth knowing: the black waistband is what keeps this from reading as a novelty — it anchors the pink and pairs with black gloves and black wraps for a kit that holds together.
Getting the size right
European cut — take your usual size. Thai-made shorts are sized to the Thai market, which is why almost every seller tells you to order one size up. These are cut to European sizing, so that correction does not apply. Eight sizes, XS to 4XL, where most of the market stops at XXL. If you train in a groin guard, go one size up.

Frequently asked questions
Are there Muay Thai shorts for women?
The cut is the same for men and women — only the size changes, and the range opens at XS, which is not true everywhere. This colourway is the only pink ground in the collection.
What size Muay Thai shorts should I get?
Take your usual size. These are cut to European sizing, so the standard advice to order one size up — which applies to Thai-made shorts — does not apply here. Eight sizes run XS to 4XL. If you train in a groin guard, go one size up.
What is the difference between Muay Thai shorts and kickboxing shorts?
Length. Muay Thai shorts stop above the knee with a high side split; kickboxing and K-1 shorts sit lower. Clearing the knee frees the head kick and the clinch, and it lets an opponent see the knee when low kicks are landing.
Can you wear Muay Thai shorts for boxing?
Yes. The short leg and high split take nothing away from footwork, and plenty of boxers train in them. The one difference is the low-blow line: boxing shorts mark it with a waistband above the navel, Thai shorts do not.
Do these come in big and tall sizes?
Yes, up to 4XL. Most of the market stops at XXL on a pair of Thai shorts.
How do you wash Muay Thai shorts?
Machine wash inside out at 30 °C / 86 °F, no tumble dryer, and never put an iron directly on the design. Skip the fabric softener: it coats the weave and slows how fast sweat moves through it.
