Bangkok has two temples of muay thai: Rajadamnern Stadium, opened in 1945, and Lumpinee, in 1956. Fighting at either remains the making of a Thai boxer, and the Saturday night cards have run there for more than seventy years in front of crowds betting out loud between rounds. That is the ecosystem the Thai equipment brands grew out of.

What the mesh changes
The rear panels are open mesh: air moves through instead of being held against the skull. It is the construction used for outdoor work and effort, where a full fabric crown traps heat. The front panel stays solid, which is what allows the logo to sit there.
The logo, near and far
The Fairtex logo takes the top of the front panel, with BE INSPIRED beneath in spaced capitals that run slightly onto the side seam. At four metres you pick out the coloured oval; at one metre the line reads.
The fourteen versions

By hand only, lukewarm water at 30 °C / 86 °F maximum, mild soap, without pulling on the mesh. Dry flat or over something round: the mesh recovers its shape as it dries provided it has not been wrung out.
