A reinforced steel structure
The frame is reinforced steel with a black finish, backed by a triangular gusset brace between the arm and the wall plate. That triangulation absorbs the repeated snatch loads of the bag and keeps the arm from flexing. The plate, drilled at several fixing points, spreads the load across the wall.
