The strap is wide and white, on a black sole edged with white piping. The Esprit Boxe mark and the FOR THE GLORY line are printed on it in black, across about half the strap width: at five metres / sixteen feet you see a white band, at two metres / six feet you read the name.
A wide strap is not just a styling choice
Comfort in a slider comes down to how pressure is spread across the instep. A thin thong concentrates the whole load on two or three centimetres / an inch and marks the skin; a wide strap like this one spreads it across the full width of the foot. That is what lets you keep them on for an hour without thinking about it.
The textured footbed
The top of the sole is not smooth: it carries a raised grain across the whole contact area. Two practical effects — the foot does not slide forward when the sole of the foot is wet on the way out of the shower, and the contact stays less tacky than on a smooth foam.
The heel and forefoot are dished into the material, which locates the foot sideways rather than leaving it floating on a flat board.
EU 32 to 45
Fourteen sizes, from EU 32 (US men's 1) to EU 45 (US men's 11.5). The fit is unisex and true to size. Between two sizes, take the larger: a slightly roomy slider stays comfortable, whereas a tight one presses on the instep.

What sliders are for in a gym
This is changing room footwear. EVA does not take on water and dries in minutes, which is what lets you keep them on in the shower. In a club changing room — shared showers, wet mats, bare feet all year — a pair you only take off once you are home remains the simplest hygiene measure against athlete's foot.
Good to know before ordering
The white strap comes back with a cloth. A little soapy water and a cloth lift changing room dust and floor marks in one pass, with no special product.
These are changing room sliders, not walking shoes. EVA is soft and cushioned, ideal over a few hundred metres, but it does not support the foot over a long distance.
Do not leave them in the sun behind a windscreen. EVA distorts with heat: a pair forgotten in a car in high summer can warp for good.
Care
Rinse in clean water and air dry in the shade. On the white strap, a little soapy water and a cloth lift most marks. Avoid bleach, which yellows white EVA over time, along with the washing machine and any direct heat source, which distort the foam.
