Decorative rug3 sizes
The essentials. Decorative doormat with the gold Canelo Alvarez monogram on black, alongside the words 4-division world champion and the year 1990. Three sizes, 40 x 60, 50 x 80 and 60 x 90 cm / 16 x 24, 20 x 31 and 24 x 35 in, from €19 to €29. Non-slip gripper backing, machine washable.
In November 2021 Saúl Canelo Álvarez beat Caleb Plant and brought together the four major super-middleweight belts: WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO. Only a handful of men have held all four titles in one weight class at the same time since the four-body system took shape. The line printed on this mat — 4-division world champion — refers to the four weight classes in which he has held a world title.
What is printed
A gold monogram shaped as a five-pointed star, built from the interlaced letters C and A, sits at the centre. Around it: CANELO upper left, ALVAREZ below, the figures 19 and 90 either side — his year of birth — and 4-DIVISION WORLD CHAMPION in small type to the right of the monogram. All of it in gold on black.
Choosing your size
Three sizes, 40 x 60, 50 x 80 and 60 x 90 cm / 16 x 24, 20 x 31 and 24 x 35 in. The size chart tells you which size matches which door.
Technical specifications
Good to know. The gold carries best on a dark floor, where the black ground of the mat merges with the surface and the monogram is what catches the light.

Frequently asked questions
What size doormat should I choose?
40 x 60 cm / 16 x 24 in suits a 70 to 80 cm / 28 to 31 in door, 50 x 80 cm / 20 x 31 in a standard 90 cm / 35 in front door, and 60 x 90 cm / 24 x 35 in a double door or a kitchen sink front. Pick a mat slightly wider than the opening, otherwise people step around it instead of on it.
Can a doormat go in the washing machine?
This one can, then dry it flat. Flat drying keeps the gripper backing in shape, which is where every non-slip mat suffers in a tumble dryer.
What does 4-division world champion mean?
World champion in four different weight classes. Canelo Álvarez also unified the four major super-middleweight belts — WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO — in November 2021 against Caleb Plant, which very few boxers have achieved in a single division.
What do the numbers 19 and 90 stand for?
His year of birth, 1990, split either side of the monogram. The monogram itself is the interlaced initials C and A arranged as a five-pointed star.
Can it be used outdoors, in front of the entrance door?
It is built for indoor use: the surface is textile and absorbs moisture rather than scraping soles. Under a covered porch it holds up; in the open rain it stays wet. Its place is a room threshold, a bathroom, a kitchen or a sheltered balcony.
