The essentials: King focus mitts in PU leather, with a black, white and red graffiti design. Injection moulded padding with strong shock absorption, an ergonomic gusset, a mesh lining and a wide adjustable buckle strap. A light profile for speed work. Sold as a pair (2 pieces). €44, free standard delivery.
A white face crossed by black and red brush strokes, with a contrasting pattern along the edge: the King takes a clear graphic stance without giving anything up on the build — PU leather, injection moulded padding and mesh ventilation, like the rest of the range.
A design that gets noticed
The striking face carries a black and red graffiti design on a white ground, continued by a contrasting band along the edge. Beyond the look, that strong contrast has a practical use: the mitt stays clearly readable to the boxer, even moving fast, which helps judge the distance and the timing of the shot.
PU leather and injection moulding
The shell is PU leather, supple and resistant to the repeated friction of gloves. Inside, the injection moulding delivers strong shock absorption while keeping the mitt light. The coach can move the target quickly between shots without the arm loading up, which makes it a sound tool for working speed and combinations.
Hold: an adjustable buckle strap
The gusset follows the shape of the hand for a comfortable, stable grip. At the back, a wide elastic buckle strap allows precise tightening to each hand — a step beyond plain hook-and-loop for keeping the mitt locked to the hand on heavy shots.
Ventilation
A vented mesh panel on the back of the hand and a mesh lining carry sweat away. Across pad sessions run with several boxers, that is what keeps the hand from slipping and stops damp settling in.

Getting the most out of pad work
- Short combinations: 3 to 5 shots (jab, cross, hook) beat long, loose series.
- Locked wrist: present the mitt facing the fist and meet the impact slightly.
- Simulated counters: send a mitt back towards the boxer to make them keep their guard up and slip.
- Tighten the buckle before the round: a mitt with play on the hand tires the wrist and throws the target off.
- Care: wipe after each session with a dry or lightly damp cloth, air the mesh and let it dry naturally.

Frequently asked questions
Are they sold singly or as a pair?
As a pair: you receive 2 pieces, one for each hand, with free standard delivery.
What are they made of?
PU leather, a supple synthetic that stands up to the friction of gloves, with injection moulded padding inside. For very heavy daily use, the Esprit Boxe range in real leather offers a longer working life.
How do they differ from the Deluxe focus mitts?
Both ranges are PU leather with injection moulded padding. The King stands out through its black, white and red graffiti design and its wide adjustable buckle strap. The Deluxe offers a contrasting central target and comes in 4 colours. Choose the Deluxe if you want an aiming point for precision, the King for the look and the hold.
Are they suitable for beginners?
Yes. Their light weight and good shock absorption suit a training partner as well as a club coach. The strong contrast of the design even helps a beginner pick out the target while it is moving.
Do you need gloves to strike them?
Yes. Pad work is done with hand wraps and boxing gloves, generally 10 to 14 oz. Striking bare-handed exposes the knuckles, even against a padded target.
How do you look after them?
Wipe the surface with a dry or lightly damp cloth after each session, air the mesh lining and let it dry at room temperature. Avoid the washing machine, soaking and direct heat.
