Twelve first-round finishes in nineteen fights
Tyson turned professional on 6 March 1985 in Albany and won by knockout in the first round. Then he did it again: of his first nineteen fights, twelve ended in the opening round. He climbed through the ropes fifteen times in 1985 alone, a schedule no heavyweight keeps today.
