Twenty years and four months
On 22 November 1986, at the Las Vegas Hilton, Mike Tyson put Trevor Berbick down twice in the second round and became WBC world heavyweight champion at 20 years and 4 months: the youngest in the history of the division, a record that still stands. He unified the three belts eleven months later, on 1 August 1987, against Tony Tucker.
What struck people was not the size — 1.78 m / 5 ft 10 in, one of the shorter heavyweight champions — but the way he came in: body low, head moving constantly, and a hand launched from very close. That entry is what the drawing holds.
The design
Landscape format. Two boxers fill the width: the one on the right is at full extension of the right arm, fist on his opponent's face as the head snaps back; the one on the left takes it, torso in profile, guard open. Both wear gloves, wrist wraps and shorts.
The drawing is worked in solid areas, with no gradient and no fine outline: muscles, the folds of the shorts and the laces are rendered as white reserves inside the black masses. At three metres / ten feet you read two bodies and an impact; at one metre / three feet you can pick out each reserve.

Tip: the landscape format wants a wall clear across its full width. The 86 × 57 cm / 34 × 22 in goes above a three-seat sofa or a weight rack; the 63 × 42 cm / 25 × 17 in is enough above a desk or a door.
