- Regular price€25,00

The essentials: a Snake focus mitt in black PU leather, carrying a white snake head and a vertical red band. A flat, light format: 23.5 x 19.6 x 5 cm / 9.3 x 7.7 x 2 in. Injection moulded padding with good shock absorption, a buckle retaining strap and reinforced lacing around the rim. Sold singly — €25, free standard delivery.
The Snake is ordered by the piece, which lets you start with a single mitt or add one to an existing set. It keeps the essentials of the build: hard-wearing PU leather, injection moulded padding and reinforced lacing. Its flat format and snake head motif make it a simple, light and instantly recognisable piece of kit.
The Snake design
The black striking face carries a stylised snake head in white, fangs out, crossed by a vertical red band. The white and red against black gives the boxer a clean visual reference: the motif sits at the centre of the target, where the fist should land.
A flat, light format
At 23.5 cm / 9.3 in long, 19.6 cm / 7.7 in wide and 5 cm / 2 in thick, the Snake takes a flatter profile than heavily curved focus mitts. The result is light, easy-handling kit, suited to speed work and quick target changes. The injection moulding gives good shock absorption on punch work.
Hold: a buckle strap
The back carries finger loops and a metal buckle strap that keeps the mitt stable on the hand. The rim is closed with contrasting exposed lacing, stronger than plain stitching on an area under repeated strain. The PU leather stands up well to the friction of gloves.

Getting the most out of pad work
- Short combinations: 3 to 5 shots (jab, cross, hook) beat long, loose series.
- Locked wrist: present the mitt facing the fist and meet the impact slightly.
- Aim at the motif: ask the boxer to hit the snake head, not simply the mitt.
- Tighten the strap before the round: a mitt with play on the hand tires the wrist and throws the target off.
- Care: wipe after each session with a dry or lightly damp cloth and let it dry naturally.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Snake sold singly or as a pair?
Singly: you receive one focus mitt, with free standard delivery. To work combinations with both hands, order two.
What are its dimensions?
23.5 cm / 9.3 in long, 19.6 cm / 7.7 in wide and 5 cm / 2 in thick. A flat, compact format, lighter than heavily curved focus mitts, built for speed work.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. Its flat, light format handles easily, and buying by the piece lets you start with a single mitt, working in pairs or at home. For a coach running several sessions a day, the real leather range moulds to the hand and keeps its surface longer.
What is it made of?
PU leather, a synthetic that stands up to the friction of gloves, with injection moulded padding inside and reinforced lacing around the rim. For very heavy daily use, the Esprit Boxe range in real leather offers a longer working life.
Do you need gloves to strike it?
Yes. Pad work is done with hand wraps and boxing gloves, generally 10 to 14 oz. Striking bare-handed exposes the knuckles, even against a padded target.
How do you look after it?
Wipe the surface with a dry or lightly damp cloth after each session and let it dry at room temperature. Avoid the washing machine, soaking and direct heat.
