Setting the height
The steel uprights slide inside the wall bracket and lock with clamping knobs, giving a fine adjustment over a 30 cm / 12 in range. Is a speed bag included?
No. The platform ships with its swivel and all the wall fixing hardware, and the bag is chosen separately from our speed bag collection. That leaves you free to pick the size and the material that suit the work you want to do.
How is a speed bag platform fitted?
It bolts to the wall with the supplied hardware. A load-bearing wall is required: brick, block or concrete take the vibration, where a stud partition on its own does not. Check the tightness before the first session and again after a few weeks, which is when a new mounting settles.
Is the height adjustable?
Yes, over a 30 cm / 12 in range, using the clamping knobs on the uprights. Set the top so the belly of the bag sits between the mouth and the eyes when you are in guard — that is the level that keeps the hands high and the posture honest.
Why does the top need to be thick?
