Construction and finish
The shell is built from panels with reinforced stitching, closed by lacing at the top and carried by a webbed loop that takes the swivel. An inflation valve sits at the base. The metallic colourways (gold, silver) and the two-tone ones (red and black, yellow and black) follow the visual codes of competition kit.
Setting the height
Set the mounting so the belly of the bag sits between the mouth and the eyes, fists up in guard. To start out, drop the setting slightly: the shoulders hold out longer and the technique stays clean deeper into the round. The bag hangs by its loop from a ball-bearing swivel, fixed under a wall platform or to the ceiling.
Inflating and care
Inflate to a surface that is firm but still gives under the thumb. An over-inflated bag goes dead, strains its seams and rebounds unpredictably; under-inflated, it floats and loses its line. Wipe the shell after sweaty sessions with a damp cloth, without oily products.

It is exactly the format to start on. The bigger the bag, the wider and more readable its rebound, which leaves time to reset the hand between two strikes. Bags of 15 to 18 cm / 6 to 7 in are far livelier and belong to the explosive work of experienced boxers.
Do I need a swivel and a platform?
Yes. The bag hangs by its loop from a ball-bearing swivel, itself fixed under a wall platform or to the ceiling. Neither the swivel nor the platform is included: both are available separately, which leaves you free to set your own mounting height.
Speed bag or punching bag: what is the difference?
A heavy bag builds power and mass transfer. A speed bag builds hand speed, rhythm, hand-eye coordination and relaxation. The two complement each other: the bag gives the impact, the speed bag gives the timing.
