The ground is white, which is unusual on boxing textiles: the pair of gloves is drawn in line on it, a black outline doubled by a red rule, with no colour fill. BORN TO follows an arc above the gloves and FIGHT closes the composition below — three colours in all, readable folded over a sofa back as much as spread on a bed.
What the visual shows
White across the whole surface. At the centre, two boxing gloves drawn in line, black outline doubled by a red rule, laced wrists and visible stitching. BORN TO follows an arc above the gloves, FIGHT closes the composition at the bottom, in thick capitals with a worn look. Three colours only: white, black, red.

Good to know
The white ground pushes the design forward on a dark sofa. On a light sofa the blanket sits into the whole and it is the red and black lettering that carries: at three metres / ten feet you read BORN TO FIGHT, the gloves resolve at one metre / three feet.

Frequently asked questions
What size blanket should I choose for a sofa?
150x125 cm / 59x49 in for a two-seat sofa, 200x150 cm / 79x59 in for a three-seat, 125x100 cm / 49x39 in for an armchair or a sofa back. The complete match-up is in the size guide.
How long has boxing been fought in gloves?
Since the Marquess of Queensberry rules, published in 1867. They made gloves compulsory, set rounds at three minutes and introduced the ten second count, three principles still in force today.
How do you wash a white blanket without greying it?
Cold, on its own or with white laundry, no fabric softener. Hot water sets body oils: at 30 °C / 86 °F maximum, marks lift more easily. Low-heat tumble drying brings the loft back to the fibres.
Is the design printed on both sides?
No, on one side only. The reverse is plain and smooth, so the blanket can be turned over when you want a neutral finish on the sofa.
Does this model suit a teenager's bedroom?
Yes: three colours, a recognisable object, no portrait. The 125x100 cm / 49x39 in is enough as a foot-of-bed throw on a single bed.
The same world carries on with boxing wall art and the rest of the boxing decoration.
