A phrase that means exactly what it says
J’peux pas, j’ai… is a French construction that has become a genre of its own: a ready-made excuse for declining an invitation, and an open declaration of what comes first.
Applied to boxing, it has a practical basis. A regular trains three to four times a week, usually in the evening, at exactly the hours social life happens. The garment says out loud what the diary already says quietly.
The wording is in French, which is rare on this kind of product — the overwhelming majority of combat sports slogans are in English.
The artwork
A centred composition on four levels, in a plain sand beige. J’PEUX PAS in widely spaced serif capitals across the top, J’AI beneath in small type between two rules.
At the centre, a pair of gloves resting against each other, drawn in line with a washed finish. BOXE closes the composition in serif capitals. The whole block sits within about the width of a hand and a half. Plain back.
The garment
Lined hood with a drawcord, front kangaroo pocket, ribbed cuffs and hem. Straight cut, set-in long sleeves.

Our advice: the French wording is the point. It reads as a line someone chose rather than a slogan bought off a rail, and the sand on black carries across a room. If you want a message in English, see the It’s Cheaper Than Therapy hoodie.
