A French brand that became the UFC outfitter
Venum was founded in 2006 in France. It first made its name with MMA shorts and gloves, behind a recognisable mark: the stylised snake the name comes from.
In 2021 it became the official UFC outfitter, taking over from Reebok. Every fighter on the promotion now walks to the cage in its kit, which makes it the most visible brand in the sport.
The artwork

The design is elsewhere: a network of fine chevron lines runs down from the shoulders towards the centre of the chest and back out to the sides, drawing something like armour. They are laid in slight relief on the fabric, gold or silver depending on the version — stitched detail rather than seams.
