Two gloves on a wall, and a career that ends
A pair hanging on a nail is not a neutral image in sporting language: hanging up the gloves means retiring, and the phrase comes from a real changing room habit, where every boxer hung his pair on a peg between sessions.
The habit has a technical side. A glove should be stored hung and open, never crushed at the bottom of a bag. Sweat leaves moisture trapped in the foam, which degrades and loses density — the protection drops before the leather even shows wear. A properly aired glove lasts years; the same glove left shut in a bag lasts a season.

How do I clean a canvas print?
A dry microfibre cloth handles almost everything. For a mark that stays, use a barely damp cloth with no detergent, wiping across the surface. No abrasive sponge, no glass cleaner.
