The Elite range carries a concentric ring target, which lets you measure how far a punch lands off centre rather than simply aim at it. It is ordered by the piece, in 4 bright colours that let you pick your kit out at a glance in a gym.
Four colours to choose from
The same model in four finishes, selected at the time of ordering:
- Silver: metallic grey and red, the most restrained of the four.
- Red: red and black, the most common combination in a gym.
- Orange: orange and black, high contrast.
- Yellow: yellow and black, the most visible in low light.

The concentric target: aim true, measure the miss
The striking face carries a target of concentric rings converging on a contrasting central disc. Unlike a plain aiming point, that structure lets you measure the miss: boxer and coach see instantly whether the impact was on the centre or off. An excellent teaching aid for correcting the alignment of the fist on the jab and the cross, and for putting numbers on progress from one session to the next.
PU leather and dense foam
The shell is PU leather, supple and resistant to the repeated friction of gloves. Inside, the dense foam padding delivers strong shock absorption while keeping the mitt light: the coach moves the target quickly between shots without the arm loading up.
Grip and ventilation
The gusset follows the shape of the hand for a comfortable, stable grip, completed by a hook-and-loop strap at the wrist. A wide vented mesh panel on the back of the hand and the mesh lining carry sweat away over long sessions. The rim is closed with exposed lacing, stronger than plain stitching.

Getting the most out of pad work
- Call the zone: ask for the central disc on straight shots, the outer rings to work the angles.
- Short combinations: 3 to 5 shots (jab, cross, hook) beat long, loose series.
- Locked wrist: present the mitt facing the fist and meet the impact slightly.
- Simulated counters: send a mitt back towards the boxer to make them keep their guard up and slip.
- Care: wipe after each session with a dry or lightly damp cloth, air the mesh and let it dry naturally.

Is it sold singly or as a pair?
Singly: you receive one focus mitt, with free standard delivery. To work combinations with both hands, order two — and you can pick two different colours if you like.
Which colours are available?

What is the concentric ring target for?
It lets you measure the miss, not just aim. The boxer goes for the central disc; the rings show immediately how far off the impact landed. A very effective reference for correcting the alignment of the fist and tracking progress from one session to the next.
Are they suitable for beginners?
Yes. The concentric target is an excellent guide for learning to align the fist, and buying by the piece lets you start with a single mitt. For a coach running several sessions a day, the real leather range moulds to the hand and keeps its surface longer.
Do you need gloves to strike them?
Yes. Pad work is done with hand wraps and boxing gloves, generally 10 to 14 oz. Striking bare-handed exposes the knuckles, even against a padded target.
How do you look after them?
Wipe the surface with a dry or lightly damp cloth after each session, air the mesh lining and let it dry at room temperature. Avoid the washing machine, soaking and direct heat.
