Catching a chicken is a real drill
The scene is in Rocky II: the trainer lets a chicken loose in a yard and tells his fighter to catch it. Rocky fails for days before he manages it — and the film makes that the moment he becomes fast.
The drill is not a screenwriter's invention. A chicken changes direction without warning: catching one takes reaction, lateral movement and anticipation, the three things a boxer works on outside the bag. Trainers have used live poultry, and later tennis balls, for the same reason.
The artwork
A circular crest with a double rule. MIGHTY MICK'S BOXING CAMP runs round the top arc in gold capitals, with MICKEY GOLDMILL PROPRIETOR in small type just beneath.
At the centre, a portrait of the trainer flanked by two hanging gloves and a laurel wreath. Then CATCH in white capitals between two chickens, and Chicken in gold script above OLD SCHOOL TRAINING. Aged finish. Plain back.
The garment
Lined hood with a drawcord, kangaroo pocket, ribbed cuffs and hem. Straight cut, set-in long sleeves.

Frequently asked questions
What does Catch Chicken mean on this hoodie?
It refers to the drill in Rocky II: the trainer releases a chicken in a yard and the fighter has to catch it. The film uses it as the moment the character becomes quick.
Is catching a chicken a real boxing drill?
Yes. A chicken changes direction without warning, so catching one trains reaction, lateral movement and anticipation. Trainers have used poultry, and later tennis balls, for the same purpose.
What is Mighty Mick's Boxing?
The gym run by Mickey Goldmill, Rocky's trainer, in the films. This design reproduces its full crest, proprietor line included.
How many colours are there?
Five: black, red, grey, navy and white, all at the same price.
What size should I take?
European cut — take your usual size, with no Asian sizing to convert. Six sizes from S to XXXL, all at the same price. Over training kit, go up one.
How do I care for the print?
Machine wash at 30 °C / 86 °F inside out, no tumble dryer, and never run an iron over the print. Heat transfer film holds for years on that routine and gives way to heat, not to washing.
