It arrives rolled. That is the only way to ship a one metre format. Leave it flat for 24 to 48 hours, weighted at the corners if needed: it settles perfectly. Do not iron it and do not heat it, the rubber layer will not take it.
Check the space you have. A 100 x 50 cm / 39 x 20 in needs at least 110 cm / 43 in of usable desk width. Folded against a wall or a monitor stand, a pad keeps the crease for good.
Care
A damp microfibre cloth once a week, working the spot where the palm rests. For a full clean, warm soapy water by hand, a thorough rinse, then drying flat and in open air: that is what keeps the rubber bonded to the textile and the cream at its original shade. Never a washing machine or a tumble dryer.
