One pair per use, not one for everything
The row painted here matches a changing room reality: a boxer who trains seriously owns several pairs, and not out of vanity.
Bag gloves, short and compact, take repeated impact on a hard surface. Sparring gloves, at 14 or 16 oz / 397 or 454 g, protect the partner. Fight gloves, at 8 or 10 oz / 226 or 283 g, are kept for the official ring and are laced. Using a fight pair on the bag destroys the foam in weeks; using a bag pair in sparring puts the partner at risk. There is a plainer reason too: a glove takes 24 to 48 hours to dry through. Two pairs in rotation last longer than one used every day.
What you see
Very elongated horizontal format, twice as wide as it is tall. Eight gloves hang side by side by their laces from a horizontal bar, cuffs up, lined up across the full width of the frame.
Each carries a different colour — purple, sea green, khaki, pearl grey, pale pink, off-white — worked in soft satin tones, with highlights following the folds of the leather. The ground is dark and plain, grading to black at the edges. No text, no logo. From 3 m / 10 ft you read a frieze of colour; from 1 m / 3 ft the texture of each glove appears.

A dry microfibre cloth handles almost everything. For a mark that stays, use a barely damp cloth with no detergent, wiping across the surface. No abrasive sponge, no glass cleaner.
