The essentials: boxing entered the Olympic Games at Olympia in 688 BC, and the first winner, Onomastos of Smyrna, left crowned with laurel. This trophy carries that laurel, moulded under a laced glove. The base holds a blank rectangular plate: this is the model to pick when a name, a date or a club has to be engraved. 29 cm / 11.4 in tall, base 17 × 12 cm / 6.7 × 4.7 in, 3 finishes. €79, free shipping.
The laurel comes from Olympia
Boxing — pygmachia — joined the Olympic programme at the 23rd Olympiad, in 688 BC. The first recorded champion is Onomastos of Smyrna, also credited with writing the first rules of the sport.
That is where the laurel wreath under the glove comes from: the oldest victory sign in combat sport.
What you get
A laced boxing glove angled forward on a flared stem. Below the glove, a circular laurel wreath encloses a raised torch. The cuff carries a framed BB cartouche. The whole thing stands on a round stepped base in black lacquer, fitted with a blank rectangular plate on the front face.
What the photograph will not tell you: the plate is roughly a third of the base width and is engraved locally — the trophy ships blank. The three finishes read very differently at a distance. Light bronze is coppery and bright; antique black is dark with gold speckling and a gold BB cartouche; gold is satin yellow with the BB cartouche in black.

Buying tip: have the plate engraved before presentation night, not after. An engraver works on the plate alone if it unscrews, otherwise on the whole trophy — build that turnaround into your schedule. For longer text, three short lines work best: name, category, date.
Which finish for a championship
The finish is what ranks the awards when several titles go out on the same night. Gold marks the winner, light bronze a category or a team title, and antique black stands clearly apart from both when trophies are lined up on a table. All three share the same 29 cm / 11.4 in height, so they line up as a matched set.

What finishes are available?
Three: coppery light bronze, gold-speckled antique black, and satin gold. All the same height, so they line up as a set on one table.
